Where do my video files get uploaded?

Nowhere! VideoSync Pro operates on a completely serverless architecture. Your video and audio feeds are parsed locally inside your browser's isolated JavaScript memory using high-speed WebAssembly (WASM). Your gigabytes of raw video files are never sent to our servers, keeping your customer files 100% secure and saving massive bandwidth.

How does the Auto-Sync algorithm calculate delay offsets?

VideoSync extracts the PCM audio peaks from each of your imported video clips inside the browser. It then runs a correlation calibration algorithm that compares audio waveforms across different tracks to identify matching spikes (speech peaks, clapperboard snaps, or flashes), calculating and setting start offsets automatically.

Why did I encounter an Out of Memory (OOM) browser error?

Web browsers allocate a restricted partition of system RAM to individual tabs. If you load massive 4K ProRes files or run upwards of 6 high-definition cameras simultaneously, the browser's memory cap may trigger. If this happens, try converting your footage to lightweight editing proxies (1080p H.264 mp4s) or reducing overall clip lengths before loading.

What is the difference between Starter Free and VideoSync Pro?

The Starter Free tier lets you import up to 2 cameras and export standard H.264 cuts up to 720p resolution. Upgrading to VideoSync Pro ($19/mo) unlocks up to 8 loaded cameras, 4K resolution exports, premium lossless editing codecs (H.265 and Apple ProRes), and seamless cloud project syncs.
